The PWBA protects the integrity of pensions, health plans and additional employee benefits. The website offers customer service, contact information, lists of laws and regulations, current news articles and a history of the PWBA. Document forms may also be downloaded off the site.

Social Security Administration: www.ssa.gov
This massive site offers everything from current Social Security-related news items to employment opportunities. The site also lists regional offices, press releases, how to apply for services, forms, benefit publications, a history of the SSA, communications to congress and a chat room. Laws, regulations and research statistics are also available.

National Senior Citizens Law Center: www.nsclc.org
Provides news on current nursing home and Medicare issues; offers information on age discrimination, the Older Americans Act, pension rights, Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid law. There is also an address and phone number listed so website users can contact someone at the center.

Provides news articles geared toward retirees, provides connections to volunteer and community programs, lists the organizations mission statement and advocacy of any political issued and provides a complete history of the AARP. People can also sign up to be a member via the site, and a list of contacts is also available.

Wired Seniors : www.wiredseniors.com
This site provides access to all services from the Seniors Internet Resource Center, and provides e-mail clubs and how to organize them; a singles e-mail club, memorial pages, a bulletin board and a people search board. There is also a cookbook link on the site, and travel information.

Environmental Alliance for Senior Involvement: www.easi.org
Provides the current edition of Senior Network News, online discussion groups. Information on how to volunteer, a history of the program and a list of founders and provides connections to a coalition of national environmental and governmental and senior volunteer organizations.

SeniorNet: www.seniornet.org
An online community for older adults which teaches seniors how to use computer technology via more than 140 learning centers nationwide. The site also offers deals and rebates specifically for seniors, and online users can participate in survey forum discussions.

Provides information on society meetings, lists publications and calendars and links to specific interest groups. For seniors specifically, there is also a job/resource bank available.
